Sembrava dunque che, alla fine di questo quinquennio di purgatorio, Vasto potesse godere di un Centro-destra rigenerato, capace di mettere in gioco i suoi uomini migliori con idee e progettualità per il futuro della nostra città intesa come proprietà di tutti i cittadini ed invece….. alla prima tentazione è di nuovo ricaduto. Ecco allora che tornano a farsi sentire i poteri forti che, messi alle corde da un’Amministrazione di centro-sinistra che non ha fatto sconti a nessuno in materia di vincoli paesaggistici (vedi il vincolo di inedificabilità assoluta sull’ex tracciato ferroviario), in materia of NTA, in rules and regulations, now back together around a center-right that has opted for continuity with the past, both in the choice of men (becoming more insistent rumors of a candidate for mayor of Prospero supported by Sharp ) us that the policy directed more to lobbyists and citizens. La Giunta Lapenna infatti ha rimesso il cittadino al centro della politica facendo prevalere l’interesse comune a quello of individuals or of the strong powers.
