Il dovere di una informazione corretta è, in questi periodi, un tema dominante.
Spesso attraverso notizie pubblicate nei media si danno immagini distorte della realtà, nonostante le notizie stesse abbiano il fondamento della verità.

            Facciamo il caso dell’articolo apparso il 23/3/010 sul Corriere Fiorentino (nel quotidiano Corriere della Sera) in relazione alle emissioni di polveri e di altri inquinante da parte del Cementificio di Pelago .
            Si legge che i cittadini protestano per i frequenti depositi di polvere di cemento, o di materiali per farlo, sulle automobili, sui panni stesi e, chiaramente sui nostri polmoni.
           Di fronte ad un articolo del genere che provoca una legittima inquietudine nei cittadini, specialmente di coloro che risiedono nell’area di ricaduta delle polveri, ITALCEMENTI ed ARPAT si affannano ad affermare che nonostante questi fenomeni, imputati a particolari situazioni atmosferiche, non ci sia niente da preoccuparsi poiché da parte sua ITALCEMENTI compie nei termini previsti ciò che la legge prevede riguardo agli self-control.            Tornando quindi al nostro articolo sulla stampa e alle dichiarazioni degli addetti ai lavori sulla sicurezza per la popolazione che secondo loro è garantita, il paradosso fra la realtà e ciò che prevede la Legge ha la forza di una esplosione.
