Applausi a scena aperta.
And the youth the future they want to really get it, starting with yesterday's Assembly, becoming de facto - after the Camusso, of course - the real stars of the day.
It all started at 10.55, when a delegation from the well known Student Movement Catania has unrolled a banner in the hall of the Sheraton where the event was held: one way, obviously to attract attention. It has attracted the attention really the wrong way initially, as an unidentified affiliated CGIL - and emphasizes only one - was hurled against the boys, thinking that they wanted to create unrest. The misunderstanding has run immediately clear, the rest of the audience applauded the students and all have apologized for the misunderstanding isolated. On behalf of the Movement, there was no intention to challenge the union. In fact, the banner read: "InFiommiamo Italy. General strike immediately. "
The reasons for this action demo have been spelled out by Matthew Iannitti, a representative of the student movement, which has conquered the stage with an act authorized. The audience applause did not spare the boy, with a speech of his stomach and head, put on the table the issues of this young generation, and not only that: "The future is young people and we intend to take it. Today we started from this room and it is a good start. We know how the trade union CGIL has been a constant partner in recent years, and FLC in particular. But today we are here to tell us of what has become a precarious existence. For many young people of the south, the army is the only hope to enlist for a paycheck. Or worse yet to be convinced that it is better to work for the mafia rather than black ... This is the tragedy of Sicily, a land that needs a new development and legality. What, in this regard, those who represent us, as governor of Sicily and as mayor of Catania, which were just investigated. We students have intervened here to ask for 28 days, the general strike and widespread. Are we not to have the blame for this situation. The fault lies with our government and parliamentary opposition weak that it can be a real alternative (and here Anna Finocchiaro, sitting in the front row, left the room to enter it again later, ndc). The crisis island, we need to feel less alone and not to be told "let us arm ourselves and matches". " Eventually even Iannitti is greeted with a standing ovation.
